This time when I came to Beijing to stroll through the hutongs and watch exhibitions, I deliberately avoided the crowded internet famous hotels on Wangfujing Street and stayed at Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing. After staying for two nights, I realized that this old high-end hotel hidden in the core area completely blends the heritage of Beijing with modern comfort - just outside is Wangfujing, walking to the Forbidden City, and even the details are full of the charm of old Beijing.
It's only a 5-minute walk from the subway station, so you don't have to drag your suitcase and squeeze through the crowds in Wangfujing. The retro wooden decorations and warm yellow lights collided, instantly relieving most of the exhaustion of the journey. When I checked in, the front desk heard that I was coming to Beijing for the first time. The details of the room are all thoughtful and thoughtful: the bedding is soft, and leaning on the pillow to brush the phone doesn't hurt the waist at all. The pillow is specially divided into buckwheat and down, and someone like me with poor cervical spine slept through two nights until dawn. The old Beijing bean curd jelly served with sauce, coke circle and fried deep-fried dough sticks in the breakfast are all authentic, and even the bean juice is authentic. You don't have to travel far to taste the authentic Beijing flavor. The hotel's executive lounge is located on a high floor, facing the city landscape of Wangfujing. After a tiring afternoon stroll, you can order a cup of coffee and sit for half an hour, watching the bustling street view downstairs. It's much more comfortable than crowded internet famous cafes outside.
There is no need to make a travel guide when strolling around. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, and after strolling through old brands, you can directly return to the hotel without squeezing the subway for half an hour. Walking along the alley for 20 minutes, you can reach the East Gate of the Forbidden City. You don't have to rush through the rush hour traffic, just enough to catch the morning entrance of the Forbidden City. A 5-minute walk at night will take you to Longfu Temple, where you can watch exhibitions and visit cultural and creative markets. When you come back late at night, you can also buy an old Beijing night snack on the way.
Staying at Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing for two nights, there was no flashy internet celebrity marketing, it was all settled and comfortable.
